2008 MN Tax Cut Rally

Why must the liberal news media lie about how many people attended the rally?

This year they are reporting that about 1000 people showed up. From the photos it is obvious that far more people than that showed up. So far I am seeing reports of about 4000 people based on the amounts of literature handed out by event sponsors. I think the weather kept some people away. Last year entire families showed up. Unfortunately my wife and I were unable to attend this years rally. We made it last year and wanted to be there again this year. This means I have to rely on the photos and the reports of the rally. So who's report of the rally should I (and you) believe?

Last year all the news channels and news papers lied about the numbers of people that showed up for the Tax Cut Rally. Last year we had good weather and about 7000 people showed up. Several papers reported several hundred people showed up. Others reported closer numbers near 4 or 5 thousand.

WCCO even reported that the people that showed up for that Tax Cut Rally were actually there for the last minute and poorly planned environmental rally that was virtually unattended. However, to promote their liberal agenda they used video from the tax cut rally and claimed it was video of the environmental rally. The MN News Council even found that WCCO "misrepresented" news in reporting the 2007 Tax Cut Rally. http://newscouncil.news-council.org/index.php?p=36

The photos and facts for this years rally will be examined and I'm sure additional complaints will be filed with the MN News Council since it already appears that ALL the news outlets are again misreporting the facts.

So who should we believe? I'll go with what the organizers claims since they have a proven track record of telling the truth.

More to come as I get more data.
