Mojave Cross Case: Supreme Court Says Federal Court Went Too Far
It's cases like these that are so important in our Country because the Supreme Court has again upheld the strict meaning of the U.S. Constitution. If we follow the path of some people such as Justice Stevens, we will no longer have the freedoms that the U.S. Constitution protects.
In dissent, Justice John Paul Stevens agreed that soldiers who died in battle deserve a memorial to their service. But the government "cannot lawfully do so by continued endorsement of a starkly sectarian message," Stevens said.
If we are to believe the minority of the court then all the crosses, Jewish stars and other such symbols of religion on the rows of white marble tombstones in all of our National Cemeteries are also un-Constitutional. These left wing haters of God and Country have no place sitting on the bench of the Supreme Court. They serve only to destroy this country from within.
